A new HLF supported restoration and regeneration project at Toynbee hall is enabling us to pioneer new solutions to social problems, to become increasingly creative in how we develop ideas, and to engage with the community and inspire and empower them to help find new solutions to chronic problems. Much of this work will be inspired by our archives and history to show the community what was achieved in the past and how they can help change the future. As a Heritage team working outside of a cultural institution, we hope the Affiliate programme  will connect us with heritage and museum professionals interested in the areas of wellbeing, sustainability and social action for shared learning and encouragement.
