Torquay Museum recently featured in the local press for their Happy Museum-funded project, Young Sustainability Champions. Working with the pupils and teachers in the Geography Department at Torquay Boys Grammar School, the museum has developed a cohort of young community sustainability champions who will inspire youth-led projects aimed at increasing understanding of the agenda and delivering carbon reduction with in communities, local authorities, businesses, schools and the home environment. Pupils held a ‘First Spark Festival’ on February 8th 2014.
